UPGS LAN Party 1 - Freshers LAN!

First weekend of November we will be holding our first LAN party of the year. We will be doing these every month throughout the year on the first weekend of the month. This event is open to anyone not just UPGS members.

We will aim to arange a pickup/dropoff service from halls/houses to the venue as many members have cars so transport should not be a issue.

Its bring your own computer (BYOC) LAN, you will need to bring your base unit (or laptop), keyboard, mouse and headphones, we will be supplying 17 inch TFT's and power cables.

We do have a few computer that can be used if you dont have a system to game on.


Date/Time: Friday 6th November 6PM - 8th November 6PM - 48 Hours

Location: Computer Junction, 72 Elm Grove - Location

Space: 16 BYOC Places but we can fit more!

Price: TBA

Tournaments: We will do some small tournaments with prizes.

Games: Anything, but the main games will be:
FPS: CoD4, CSS, TF2, L4D, Q3A
RTS: AoE2, RA2
Other: OpenTTD, Soldat, GTA2

- Are intrested in coming
- Need a lift to the event
- Have a car and can give lifts
- Would like to borrow a machine for the weekend
- Are bringing a laptop and not a desktop
